The owner of a Las Vegas real estate school filed a lawsuit in hopes of blocking a former partner from using its teaching plan and for the return of teaching materials to the school.
In a Clark County District Court suit, Judith Smith doing business as Excel School of Real Estate sued Grace Beauregard, alleging she wrongly took teaching materials that were essential to the school's operations when she left in January.
"Dozens of students, both current and projected, have requested and paid for Excel courses based on the teaching plan wrongfully confiscated by Beauregard," the suit said.
Beauregard could not be reached for comment.
