Silver Bandits advance with overtime win

ALBUQUERQUE -- The Silver Bandits went on a 7-0 run over the final 45 seconds of overtime to earn a 110-106 victory Tuesday in the deciding game of their first-round playoff series against New Mexico.
The Silver Bandits captured the series 2-1. They advance to the IBL West finals, where they begin play Thursday night at the Thomas & Mack Center against St. Louis.
The Silver Bandits trailed 106-103 before Isaac Burton (eight points, eight assists) drained a 3-pointer from the top of the key to tie the game at 106.
Rocky Walls (16 points, 11 rebounds) tipped in the go-ahead basket with 11 seconds left.
Harold Ellis, who scored 27 points off the bench, stole the ball from New Mexico and scored on a dunk to clinch it.
Marcus Liberty had a big game for Bandits with 21 points, while teammate Jeff Martin had 16 points and nailed four 3-pointers.
J.R. Henderson added 12 points and six rebounds and George Ackles contributed three key blocked shots.
