Two killed in weekend accidents

Two people were killed in separate traffic accidents here over the weekend.
A 52-year-old Las Vegas woman was killed Sunday when she was thrown from a sport utility vehicle that overturned on Highway 95 north of Russell Road. The Nevada Highway Patrol said Betty Jean Kendrick was riding in the back seat of the vehicle and it was not equipped with a seat belt. Two others were injured in the crash.
A Henderson man was killed Saturday in a single vehicle accident on Highway 95 near Ann Road. The Highway Patrol said Ronald McMillan, 19, was killed when the pickup truck he was driving hit a concrete barrier on the east side of the highway.
