Singer-impressionist Danny Gans is recovering from an emergency appendectomy performed Saturday night in a Las Vegas hospital.
Gans was forced to cancel his show at The Mirage, saying he was concerned he was suffering from food poisoning.
He went to Desert Springs Hospital, where doctors determined he needed immediate surgery to remove his appendix.
Gans was reported resting comfortably and is expected to be back on stage at the Danny Gans Theatre at The Mirage on Saturday, according to spokeswoman Laura Herlovich.
