Albert M. Bluhm

Albert M. Bluhm, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1943, in New York. A resident for six years, he worked in electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Geri; and two sons, Michael D. Bluhm of Denver and Jay R. Bluhm of Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Bunkers Memory Gardens.

William A. Clark

William A. Clark, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Butts County, Ga. A resident for 11 years, he was a a security officer at the Tropicana hotel-casino, a retired Air Force senior master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine B.; four sons, William S. Bates, Nathaniel Green, Malcolm L. Green and Donald W. Green, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Linda S. Ames of Lake Forest, Calif., and Renee Clark-Hollister of Las Vegas; one brother, David Clark of Chicago; three sisters, Eardis Hopkins of Tulsa Okla., and Meardis Akins and Doris Head, both of Jackson, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. Sunday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

William L. Daul Sr.

William L. Daul Sr., 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1948, in Neilsville, Wis. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired Marine Corps sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Amy Mey, and one son, William L. Daul Jr., both of Wisconsin; one brother, Ronnie Daul of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Gayle Daul of Wisconsin and Darla of Iowa.

Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Alexander K. Diaz

Alexander K. Diaz, 19, of California died Tuesday in Montclair, Calif. He was born Sept. 3, 1980, in Las Vegas. A former Las Vegas resident for 13 years, he was a student.

He is survived by his father, Angel Diaz, his mother, Joan E. Kissling-Diaz, three brothers, John Angel Diaz, Jose Diaz and Angel-Andres Diaz, and two sisters, Maria C. Diaz and Guadalupe Diaz, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Naomi Kissling of Las Vegas and Alejandro Diaz of Mexico.

Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today with a rosary at 6 p.m. in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Pete Gamboa

Pete Gamboa, 73, of Overton died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Ely. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired transportation manager for the Clark County School District and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; two daughters, Michelle Jones of Elko and Leslie Francisco of Las Vegas; one son, Michael E. Gamboa of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Hull of Carson City and Marce Gamboa of Olympia, Wash.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Bill Green

Bill Green, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born April 12, 1927, in Brooklyn, Miss. A resident for 38 years, he owned a dry cleaning business, was a World War II Navy veteran and was founder and president of Southern Nevada Dry Cleaners Association.

He is survived by one daughter, Beatrice E.; one son, Rod Green of Las Vegas; one brother, Fred Green of Germany; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Linda L. Heorz

Linda L. Heorz, 38, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 3, 1961, in Montclair, N.J. A resident for 13 years, she was an industrial chemist and a member of the National Chemist Society.

She is survived by her parents, Louise and Vincent Nelson of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Helen T. Janata

Helen T. Janata, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 24 years, she retired as a bookkeeper/auditor for the catering department of Marriott after 15 years.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Janata of Las Vegas and John Janata of Berwyn, Ill.; two brothers, Walter Jungblut and William Jungblut, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dorothy Meyer of Chicago and Marian J. Afin of Berwyn; and two grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charles M. Jasper III

Charles M. Jasper III, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was a logger for 30 years, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the American Contract Bridge League.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one son, Mark R. Jasper of Cypress, Calif.; three daughters, Delia Stevens of Las Vegas, Anna M. Mays of Kingston, Wash., and Claire Thornburgh of West Chicago; one brother, John Jasper of Boston; and five grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Joseph F. Lafeber

Joseph F. Lafeber, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Illinois. A resident for 30 years, he was a sales clerk at Fantasy and Silk Flower Shop and served in the Viatorian order of Catholic brothers as a teacher for 25 years.

He is survived by two brothers, Bill Lafeber of Missouri and Jerry Lafeber of Minnesota; and two sisters, Marty Coleman and Barbara Crank, both of Illinois.

Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Anthony 'Buddy' Mendoza

Anthony 'Buddy' Mendoza, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1925, in New Orleans. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired hotel executive, a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 44, Zelzah Shrine Temple, Daylite Chapter 30 Order of the Eastern Star and Starlight Shrine No. 1 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona; one son, Dwight Mendoza of Connecticut; three brothers, Al Mendoza, Malcolm Mendoza and Lester Mendoza, all of New Orleans; four sisters, Claire Mendoza, June Lewis and Sandra Mendoza, all of New Orleans, and Gail Bruno of Lafayette, La.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Jewell Ella Reddick

Jewell Ella Reddick, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Oklahoma. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, George E.; two sons, John Reddick and George Reddick; one daughter, Joyce Willcox; three brothers, Larkey McGinnis, Carl McGinnis and Herbert McGinnis; three sisters, Virginia Rhodes, Alice Wright and Barbara Carpenter; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. services Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Willie Ribas

Willie Ribas, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 5, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a slot floorman.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons; one daughter; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 12:30-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Sally Schmeich

Sally Schmeich, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 27, 1938, in Wisconsin. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; one sister, Darlene Harris of Henderson; two daughters, Kim Pennington of Tennessee and Cindy Baumhardt of Florida; three sisters, Fay, Beverly and Sandra, all of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Mary P. Strigaro

Mary P. Strigaro, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 16, 1912, in Newark, N.Y. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired postal clerk.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Calzat of Las Vegas and Phyllis Jacobs of Davie, Fla.; three brothers, Cosmo DeMarco of Bayville, N.Y., Nunzie DeMarco of Levittown, N.Y., and Gus DeMarco of Whitestone, N.Y.; and one granddaughter.
