Letter: Stars prices like robbery

Friday, May 5, 2000 | 10:05 a.m.

Regarding Victoria Sun's story on the price of concessions at Cashman Field ("Gouged for Grub," April 28). Who could take the response or input from Aramark Corporation (the Las Vegas Stars' concessionaire) seriously?

The $4.50 draft beers cost them less than .50 each. Their other prices are tremendously overrated.

These control freaks (concessionaires) know they have a captive audience and they will milk it to the bone, as they have done for years at all minor and major league stadiums. They should wear masks when they rob the public like they do.
