Bernard W. Bellow Sr.

Bernard W. Bellow Sr., 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Michigan. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Maryanne Mann of Michigan; four sons, Bill Bellow of Las Vegas and Robert Bellow, Ted Bellow and Richard Bellow, all of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Richard Buchko

Richard Buchko, 60, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1939, in Wyandotte, Mich. A resident for eight years, he was a steel worker.

He is survived by his wife, Sallyanne; four daughters, Sallyanne Athan of Wyandotte, Mich., Jean Marie Goebel of Ypsilanti, Mich., Michelle Russell of Columbus, Ohio, and Therese Lindhout of Las Vegas; two sons, Richard Andrew Buchko Jr. of Wyandotte and Michael Stephen Buchko of Monroe, Mich.; his mother, Antionette Buchko of Wyandotte; three sisters, Marge Buchko of Wyandotte, Elizabeth Bruer of Michigan and Florence Jones of Lincoln Park, Mich.; four brothers, Julius Buchko of Burbank, Calif., Joseph Buchko of North Carolina and David Buchko and Timothy Buchko, both of Wyandotte; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Charles DeGray

Charles DeGray, 55, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 24, 1944, in South Gate, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a self-employed artist.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Elizabeth Schnackenberg, one sister, Cathy Boak, and two brothers, Bud Schnackenberg and Rich Schnackenberg, all of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Edward Ennis Ellis

Edward Ennis Ellis, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1934, in Pocatello, Idaho. A resident for five years, he was a retired purchasing agent in the aviation industry and a member of the Elks in Los Angeles.

He is survived by one sister, Olive L. Coggins of Green River, Wyo.

Ruthan E. Ellis

Ruthan E. Ellis, 78, of North Las Vegas died April 24 in Las Vegas. She was born March 9, 1922, in Missouri. A resident for 58 years, she was a food server for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Barrett of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Gertrude P. 'Trude' Fisher

Gertrude P. "Trude" Fisher, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 6, 1911, in Macomb, Ill. A resident for four years, she was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by one daughter, Conee Louise Spano of Las Vegas; one son, Larry Owen Fisher of Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Genevive Davis of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Shirley Edith Fogel

Shirley Edith Fogel, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A retired loan closer, she was born Sept. 10, 1925, in New York.

She is survived by two sons, David Fogel of Chicago and Lance Fogel of Las Vegas; one daughter, Gail Fogel, and one brother, Seymour Slackman, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Ruth Ennis of Van Nuys, Calif.

Burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Larry Grella

Larry Grella, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 9, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired slot floorman and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maryann; one son, Larry Grella of Seattle; one brother, David Jacobs of Sunrise, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Ruth Grodesky

Ruth Grodesky, 64, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Penn, Wyo. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired hospital nurse.

She is survived by three daughters, Jerilyn Markle of Warren, Ohio, and Donna Vega and Carolyn Grant, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Richard Grodesky of Houston and Roger Grodesky and Douglas Grodesky, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Francis Stampfel of Warren, Ohio, and Vonna Webb of Columbus, Mont.; one brother, Jerry Webb of Columbus; and 16 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Lily Ann Grooms

Lily Ann Grooms, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 14, 1936, in Pine Ridge, S.D. A resident for 16 years, she worked for a hospital janitorial service.

She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Graff and Patricia Grooms, both of Las Vegas, Crystal Grooms of Rapid City, S.D., and Veronica Theis of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sons, Patrick Grooms of Rapid City and John Grooms of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Carol Tubbs of Phoenix and Julie Savley of Logan, Ohio; one brother, Frank Galligo of Rapid City; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Henry C. Gully

Henry C. Gully, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 16, 1913, in DeKalb, Miss. A resident for 10 years, he was a roofer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one son, Don A. Gully of Chicago; one daughter, Sandra Johnson of Las Vegas; two brothers, Wilbur Gully of Stockton, Calif., and Eugene Gully of Atlanta; one sister, Estella Greene of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Jack Hallett

Jack Hallett, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Oldham Lanshire, England. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired pressman.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; two daughters, Doreen Blevens of Las Vegas and Jackie Rankin of Orange Beach, Ala.; one son, Keith Hallett of Santa Monica, Calif.; one sister, Vera Clinton of Tasmania; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Louis L. Kierna, 85, of Las Vegas died April 22 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1914, in Illinois. A resident for many years, he was a chef and a veteran.

Graveside services were scheduled at 10:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Clarice Majorie Knutson

Clarice Majorie Knutson, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1922, in Gering, Ind. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired civil service bookkeeper.

He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Jackson of Bonita, Calif., and Diana Walker of Imperial Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Mathena of Tempe, Ariz., and Doris Brewster of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Ann Elizabeth Mills

Ann Elizabeth Mills, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born April 4, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for nine years, she was a cook's assistant and an Army veteran.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Shepley and Michelle Rose Shepley, and her father and stepmother, Frank W. and Jeanne L. Mills, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Patricia A. Mills of Whittier, Calif.; three brothers, Jeffry A. Mills of Las Vegas, Kirk C. Mills of California and Eric L. Schonning of Camarillo, Calif.; and two sisters, Linda M. Schleiger of Anaheim, Calif., and Barbara J. Grant of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 2:15 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Josefa "Mema" Molina, 77, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Havana. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Maria Bernard of Henderson; one sister; one brother; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Griffin J.V. Moog

Griffin J.V. Moog of Henderson died Thursday, his day of birth.

He is survived by his parents, Valerie and John Moog of Henderson; and his grandparents, James Sullivan and Constance Moog-Silliman, both of New York City, and Frank and Ilene Gutierrez of New Mexico.

Susie S. Nitta, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Gardena, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Nitta of Henderson and Suzanne Tanji of San Gabriel, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Darwin A. Rowell

Darwin A. Rowell, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Jan. 7, 1965, in Wisconsin. A resident for 13 years, he was a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; his mother, Rosie Belongia of Wisconsin; four brothers, Rich, Timothy, Roland and Dary; and three sisters, Bonnie, Kathy and Charlyne.

Amanda Brae Wilson

Amanda Brae Wilson, 17, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 19, 1982, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a Bonanza High School junior.

She is survived by her parents, Diana R. and Roger W. Wilson, one sister, Samantha Wilson, and one brother, Jarid Wilson, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Rheacene and Olney Dillinger of Bakersfield, Calif., and Muriel and Curtis Wilson of Laguna Hills, Calif.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Ruby M. Wilson, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 11, 1928, in Lewiston, Idaho. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil; one son, Steven Wilson of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lillian Staley and Jo Jacobs, both of Spokane, Wash.; and two brothers, Melvin Hibbs of Colville, Wash., and Cecil Hibbs of Spokane.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be private.
