Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and arson investigators say more forensics tests have failed to reveal any signs of foul play in an apartment fire that killed four people, including three children.
Authorities say the latest tests have failed to uncover the presence of accelerants at the scene.
"It leaves us with nothing," said Metro Homicide Sgt. Kevin Manning. "There is no indication of a criminal event."
Killed in the March 7 fire were LeDeana Williams, 4; Jae Williams, 3; Eric Williams III, 2; and Sam Kloner, 73, a neighbor of the Williams family.
Police tested physical evidence recovered at the scene and the results were inconclusive.
More samples were sent to the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Washington, D.C., but those tests also came back inconclusive.
Clark County Fire Department spokesman Bob Leinbach said the department's arson investigators have not given up in trying to determine a cause of the blaze.
