Tuesday, May 2, 2000 | 1:03 a.m.
The suspects, ages 17 and 13, are accused of killing Juan Alonso Rangel-Acosta, 18, outside the Inn Cal Motel late Friday.
Authorities identified the older teen as the alleged trigger man. The 13-year-old is accused of assisting him by providing a gun and identifying the victim as a target.
Names of the suspects have not been released.
The county's juvenile detention center cannot accept prisoners accused of capital crimes, so both boys were booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of murder with a deadly weapon.
