Aurelia V. Beniquez
Aurelia V. Beniquez, 91, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1908, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Dolores; three sons, Aurelio Beniquez of Los Angeles, Reinaldo Beniquez of New York state and Erinaldo Beniquez of San Diego; two daughters, Nelida Ramos of Las Vegas and Lucyla Bosque of Nevada; two brothers, Filomeno Velez of Michigan and Justo Velez of Puerto Rico; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Kathleen Fisher
Kathleen Fisher, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 12, 1931, in Ireland. A resident for many years, she was an insurance company receptionist.
She is survived by her husband, Donovan of England.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in England. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Lyle Reed Holladay
Lyle Reed Holladay, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Danville, Ala. A resident for two years, he was a retired teacher and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two daughters, Laura Ann Shackelford and Amy Lynn Holladay, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Essie Holladay of Hartselle, Ala.; three sisters, Doris Puckette and Sonja Holladay, both of Hartselle, and Kathy Hildie of Fairbanks, Alaska; one brother, Kyle Holladay of Danville; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Devin Allen Lehmann
Devin Allen Lehmann, 5 months, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1999, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Tiffany Lehmann, one brother, Dante J. Lehmann, and his grandparents, Diana, Jeff and Gary, all of Las Vegas; and his two great-grandfathers, Allen Fuller of Las Vegas and Paul Spohn of Inverness, Fla.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Nicholas Albert Marchione
Nicholas Albert Marchione, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 28, 1914, in West Virginia. A resident for 11 years, he was an engineer and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mahtilda; one son, Nicholas A. Marchione II of Simi Valley, Calif.; two daughters, Rebecca Scott of Simi Valley and Nancy McCloskey of Westlake Village, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Maurice Jarvis Miles
Maurice Jarvis Miles, 92, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1907, in St. George, Utah. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired chemist for a titanium company and a member for 60 years of the American Chemical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; three daughters, Mary M. Lindsay of Salt Lake City, Helen Rasmussen of Hooper, Utah, and Carol Vincent of St. George; seven sons, M. Howard Miles of Pullman, Wash., Daniel W. Miles of Washington, Utah, Melvin H. Miles of Ridgecrest, Calif., Robert E. Miles of Arvada, Colo., John L. Miles of St. George, William L. Miles of Brigham City, Utah, and Clark W. Miles of Salt Lake City; 56 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Cholla Street LDS Chapel, 303 S. Cholla St., Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, 102 E. Lake Mead Drive, Henderson, NV 89015, or the Fairview Ward LDS Church.
Lena Annette Reddicks
Lena Annette Reddicks, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 13, 1928, in Keysville, Va. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Roscoe G.; one daughter, Phonon Rosemarie Perrilloux of Rome, N.Y.; two sons, Harold Reddicks of Las Vegas and Nathaniel Reddicks of Los Angeles; one brother, Roscoe P. Winston of San Antonio; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Nellis Baptist Church, 4300 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to Nellis Baptist Church.
Lee Grant Wanless
Lee Grant Wanless, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1936. A resident for many years, he was retired.
He is survived by his wife, Renee of Bluffdale, Utah.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Utah. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The Rev. William Wesley
The Rev. William Wesley, 96, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 23, 1903, in Buckner, Ark. A resident for 44 years, he was a hotel porter and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by four daughters, Doris Harris, Dorothy Wesley Kitchen, Betty Ridley and Betty Lou Porter, all of Las Vegas; six sons, James H. Wesley and Davis Wesley, both of Los Angeles, and the Rev. Jesse L. Wesley Sr., Wilton Wesley Sr., Lebural Wesley and Saul Wesley, all of Las Vegas; 65 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in New Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams Ave.
