Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to close 74 Einstein Bros. and Noah's New York Bagels stores.
Company spokeswoman Anita Marie Hill said none of the company's six Las Vegas stores are affected by the move.
Hill said the company expects to complete its financial restructuring by the end of the year.
Last month, Einstein Chief Executive Officer Robert Hartnett said the company planned to expand its Las Vegas operations by as many as 12 stores over the next few years.
Hill said that as of now "those plans remain intact."
