WASHINGTON -- A spending bill approved by the House on Thursday will provide up to $3.3 million to Nevada for repairing flood-damaged roads in Las Vegas.
The measure, approved by a vote of 263-146, provides a total of $600 million nationwide from the Federal Highway Administration's emergency relief program to fund repairs for roads and bridges.
The Las Vegas Valley sustained more than $20 million in damage to public buildings, roads and bridges after a devastating July 8 flood.
