Larry R. Arigoni
Larry R. Arigoni, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1948, in Tonopah. A lifelong resident, he was a carpenter, a veteran of the National Guard, a member of Carpenters Local 1780 and the Las Vegas Ski Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Rose Arigoni, and his mother, Naomi Beets, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Ann Beets of Las Vegas and Vicki Serre of Salt Lake City; and two brothers, Steve Beets of Las Vegas and Steve Conde of Salt Lake City.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park Northwest.
The family suggests donations to Opportunity Village, 10 Coolidge Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Betty June Bardwell
Betty June Bardwell, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 20, 1926, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, she was was retired from the real estate business.
She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Krause, and her mother, Margaret Bardwell, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Hyman Genzer
Hyman Genzer, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1914, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A resident for one month, he was a retired accountant and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Celia; and one son, Bob Genzer of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Temple Beth Sholom Building Fund.
Annette Goldberg
Annette Goldberg, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 10, 1926, in New York. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Meyer; one son, Philip Goldberg of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Ellen McBride of Las Vegas; one brother, Morris Feinerman of Chatsworth, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today in Memory Gardens. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. today in Sun City Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd., No. 5. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Maurice W. Goodside
Maurice W. Goodside, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 24, 1914, in Boone, Iowa. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired Riviera casino host, a member of the Masons and Shriners, both in Sioux Falls, Idaho, and is a member of the Iowa Baseball Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Goodside of Las Vegas; four children; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
Mark L. Jamerson
Mark L. Jamerson, 32, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 29, 1968, in Las Vegas. A resident for 22 years, he was a barber.
He is survived by four sons, Cory Jamerson of Las Vegas, Lazell Dunn of Mississippi and Tijuan Jamerson and Marcus Jamerson, both of Phoenix; one daughter, Chantell Jamerson of Phoenix; his father, Robert Nash, and his mother and stepfather, Jean and Alvin Morris, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Alvin Morris III of Texas and Wayne Morris of Las Vegas; and five sisters, Barbara Morris of New Orleans, Raejon Hollowell, Penne Morris and Camille Henry, all of Las Vegas, and Vickie Hollowell of Michigan.
Visitation is scheduled 4:30-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Portals to Glory Church of God in Christ, 2301 Comstock Drive. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Natalie J. Schumacher
Natalie J. Schumacher, 61, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 10, 1939, in Weiser, Idaho. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; three daughters, Dana Aguilera, Jacquie Calvillo and Stephanie Samuelson, and one son, Brett Myers, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sharon Johnson of Las Vegas and Kay Tonnessen of San Diego; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 5825 W. Eldora St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Jeanette E. Strong
Jeanette E. Strong, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Milwaukee. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired key punch operator.
She is survived by her husband, George; four daughters, Christine Fleenor, Pamela Beier and Jeannie Jessup, all of Milwaukee, and Dawn Rabe of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Richard W. Taylor
Richard W. Taylor, 76, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1924, in Cleveland. A resident for 37 years, he was a maintenance man at the Nevada Test Site, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3848 Henderson, American Legion and Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Joan.
Graveside services will be 2:15 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Bertha Ella Waller
Bertha Ella Waller, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born June 15, 1910, in Jasper, Texas. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired cook.
She is survived by one daughter, Rilline Westley of Las Vegas; two sons, Isador Barnett of Gardena, Calif., and Matthew Waller Jr. of Houston; two sisters, Edmonia Lockett and Lula Brantley, both of Beaumont, Texas; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Kenneth M. Winters
Kenneth M. Winters, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1943, in Belvidere, Kan. A resident for 28 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra of Woodstock, Ga.; two sons, Kenneth of Savannah, Ga., and Kevin of Merritt Island, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Beulah and Don Bettis, and two sisters, Geraldene Bartlett and Virginia Poffinbarger, all of Las Vegas; one brother, David Winters of Lafayette, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
