Robert Baker, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 28, 1925, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 40 years, he was a casino executive, a World War II Army and Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Leatherneck Club.

He is survived by his wife, Yukie N.; two daughters, Michelle Baker and Rebecca Jones, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert P. Baker of Las Vegas and Tristin Harrington of Michigan; one brother, James B. Baker of Spain; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Doris Veryle Bardan

Doris Veryle Bardan, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 10, 1918, in Washington state. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Order of the Eastern Star-Sun City, Seattle Children's Hospital Guild, Krafty Kritters, Ceramics and the Bead and Jewelry Club.

She is survived by three sons, Elwood Lambeth, Ron Lambeth and Ed Lambeth, all of Washington state; three daughters, Marjie Bardan of Washington state, Loretta Graybeal of Idaho and Lorraine Lambeth of California; one sister, Lois English of California; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Joann Barkus

Joann Barkus, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 4, 1931, in Indianapolis. A resident for four years, she was a retired administrative assistant for a real estate firm.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, Richard Barkus of Arcadia, Calif., and Christopher Barkus of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Jane Forester of Indianapolis; one brother, Robert Edward Huffman of Simi Valley, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Kirby Lee Bonner

Kirby Lee Bonner, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Illinois. A resident for four years, he was a novelty-business owner and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Allen Walker of Las Vegas; one sister, Willa Parks of Chicago; and three grandchildren.

Vera Melvina Burns

Vera Melvina Burns, 93, of Las Vegas died Monday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 19, 1906, in Alabama. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Billy G. Brown of Las Vegas.

Sylvia Pauline Colby

Sylvia Pauline Colby, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Iowa. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Women's Luncheons.

She is survived by two sons, Derell Colby of Las Vegas and Allen Colby of California; one sister, Ernia Allen of Iowa; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Grant Leon Day

Grant Leon Day, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 9, 1935, in Spring Canyon, Utah. A resident for 58 years, he owned SPD Office Supply Co. and was a Las Vegas High School graduate.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri; three daughters, Michelle, Rhonda and Sandra, two sons, Nicholas and Christoffer, one brother, Clarence N. Day, and one sister, Darlene Harris, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, John Gardner of Las Vegas; and one sister, Alice Browning of Massachusetts.

James Everett Gibson

James Everett Gibson, 77, of Pahrump died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Clayton, Ill. A resident for 14 years, he was an auditor and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; and two sisters, Mary Wirth of Illinois and Jean Hoffman of Florida.

Annette Goldberg, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 10, 1926, in New York. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Meyer; one son, Philip Goldberg of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Ellen McBride of Las Vegas; one brother, Morris Feinerman of Chatsworth, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Cecilia C. Gormley, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1918, in Wilmerding, Pa. A resident for 48 years, she retired as a Sears saleswoman after 20 years and was a former member of Women of the Moose.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Winn of Pahrump and Barbara Ellis of Las Vegas; one son, Philip Mann of Las Vegas; one sister, Loretta McTiernan, and one brother, Pat Conahan, both of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Donna Mae Hall, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1925, in Seattle. A resident for 17 years, she sold Tupperware.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Kluesner and Betty Aurbach, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Iretta Barker of Oregon; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lucille Hill, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 17, 1909, in Franklin, Tenn. A resident for four years, she was a retired retail store clerk for 18 years.

She is survived by two sons, Cleveland Hill of Mesa, Ariz., and LaMarr Hill of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Rosa Lee Keledjian, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Beloit, Kan. A resident for 29 years, she was a receptionist for a wholesale company.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; one son, Chris Keledjian of Las Vegas; one daughter, Gayle Fedele of Henderson; one brother, Gail Roquet Jr. of Topeka, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

Lois N. Little, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 14, 1922, in Clare, Mich. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William; three daughters, Patricia J. Little of Detroit, Kathleen M. Walker of Plymouth, Mich., and Barbara C. Little of Issaquah, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Raymond Clark Lyons

Raymond Clark Lyons, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 27, 1936, in Louisiana. A resident for 38 years, he was an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Mitchell and Randy; one daughter, Brenda; four brothers, Charles, Walter, Bobby and Jimmy; one sister, Viola; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

David D. Markman

David D. Markman, 59, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1940, in Provo, Utah. A resident for eight years, he was a retired owner-operator of an engineering firm and was a member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; one daughter, Dannielle M. Cheney, and one son, Matthew D. Markman, both of Henderson; one sister, Ladene Harris of Shasta, Calif.; and one brother, Stanley Markman of Salt Lake City.

Harry Matarazzo, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Turtle Creek, Pa. A resident for four years, he was a retired machinist, a World War II Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Gilda; three daughters, Joann Hansen and Mary Ann Hepburn, both of Las Vegas, and Loretta Cooper of Palmdale, Calif.; two sisters, Grace Maiorana of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Theresa Tella of Little Rock, Calif.; one stepbrother, Alfred Matarrazzo of Philadelphia; one stepsister, Edith DiAstore of Camden, N.J.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

James Robert Mahoney, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1930l in Somerville, Mass. A resident for five years, he was a railroad clerk and a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie; one son, William Mahoney of Texas; one daughter, Susan Klann of Arizona; two sisters, Helen Byrne and Rita Doyle, both of Massachusetts; and one grandchild.

Mike Maulucci, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a grocery store cashier, a retired general contractor, an Army veteran and a member of Retail Food Clerks 711.

He is survived by his wife, Joy; one son, Harry Maulucci of Palo Alto, Calif.; two daughters, Michele Maulucci West of San Diego and Theresa Schrantz of Las Vegas; his mother, Catherine Mauluci of Las Vegas; one brother, Carl Maulucci of Covina, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Jose M. Meza, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1943, in Mexico. A resident for 10 years, he was a hotel steward supervisor.

Clarence 'Cliff' Rives, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 8, 1923, in Dupo, Ill. A resident for 32 years, he was retired from the Clark County Sheriff's Department, was a World War II Navy veteran and a volunteer for the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; two sons, Allen Rives of Fort Worth, Texas, and Clifton Rives of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; three daughters, Corinne Goble of Jerome, Idaho, and Vanessa Geraci and Denise Alleman, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Arthur E. Rives of Woodbridge, Va., and Walter S. Rives of East Alton, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Morris and Eva G. Simmons, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
