StumbleSprinter leads UNLV women

The UNLV women's track and field team opened its 2000 outdoor season at the Stanford Invitational this weekend in a meet featuring more than 20 teams. Senior sprinter Ayanna Hutchinson picked up where she left off in the indoor season. She recorded two third-place finishes, running a career-best 11.57 seconds in the 100 meters and clocking 23.97 in the 200. Both times place Hutchinson on the bubble of an NCAA provisional qualifying time.
