Edwin Lord Branch
Edwin Lord Branch, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 18, 1910. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired executive producer and a member of Elks Lodge 1468.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one stepdaughter, Karen Milligan, and two stepsons, David Milligan and Daniel Milligan, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Herbert Lynn Clark
Herbert Lynn Clark, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 5, 1928, in Fullerton, Calif. A resident for three years, he was a retired state gas company engineer and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; three sons, John Clark of Murrieta, Calif., and Grant Clark and David Clark, both of Chino, Calif.; two brothers, Don Clark of Placentia, Calif., and Ray Clark of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Thomas Kozma
Thomas Kozma, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 4, 1947, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for 50 years, he was a candy maker.
He is survived by his father, Julius Kozma of Henderson; and one sister, Sue Varner of Las Vegas.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is arranging private services.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Caroline Elizabeth Kreis
Caroline Elizabeth Kreis, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 23, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired stamp redemption store clerk/manager.
She is survived by one daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Davies of Las Vegas; two sons, Harry Kreis and Joseph Kreis, both of Cucamonga, Calif.; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Jerry D. LeMarr
Jerry D. LeMarr, 62, of Las Vegas and Hemet, Calif., died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Thomas, Okla. A winter resident for several years, he was disabled.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; one son, Tom LeMarr of Ontario, Calif.; one daughter, Jacqui LeMarr of Hemet; one brother, Bill LeMarr of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Terri Otterness of Redlands, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Raul 'Paul' Lopez
Raul "Paul" Lopez, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 30, 1917, in Morenci, Ariz. A resident for 82 years, he was a retired truck driver, helped put in the generators at Hoover Dam, was a World War II Army veteran who served with the 112th Calvary and was 1936 Las Vegas High School graduate.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Lopez and Gary E. Higgins Sr., and one daughter, Nelda Torina, all of Las Vegas; 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Elbert L. Matthews
Elbert L. Matthews, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1928, in Glasgow, Ky. A resident for 35 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Nadene; two sons, Gary Matthews of Omaha, Neb., and Terry Matthews of Las Vegas; two brothers, Morris Matthews of Elk City, Okla., and Robert Matthews of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and two sisters, Lula Payne of LaPalma, Calif., and Nancy Silva of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Jane J. Powell
Jane J. Powell, 89, of Boulder City died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1910, in Kingston, Okla. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Richmond; one son, John Powell of Edgewood, N.M.; one sister, Helen Jones of Dallas; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
John J. Rozmin
John J. Rozmin, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born June 12, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for four years, he retired from American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia A. Nowak of Belleville, Ill., and Michelle C. Palmquist of Huntley, Ill.; two brothers, Michael E. Rozmin of Oklahoma City and Connie Rozmin of Rhinelander, Wis.; one sister, Joann Green of Romeoville, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Mary C. Santoro
Mary C. Santoro, 98, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 21, 1901, in Italy. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Santoro of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Olive W. Spring
Olive W. Spring, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Keene, N.H. A resident for 11 years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford; three daughters, Sally Topoleski and Linda Dammeyer, both of Las Vegas, and Betsy Lydecker of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. today in Christ the King Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King.
The family suggests donations to Community College of Southern Nevada, Nursing Scholarships, 6375 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
Bernice N. Williams
Bernice N. Williams, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Los Angeles. A resident for 25 years, she was a longtime volunteer at Nellis Air Force Base.
She is survived by two daughters, Kristie Roth of North Carolina and Sharon Dessert of Lakewood, Calif.; one sister, Barbara F. Brown of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
