Kansas St. nips UNLV

The UNLV women's tennis team, which dropped out of the national rankings for the first time all year on Wednesday, just missed pulling off a major upset in falling to No. 34 Kansas State 5-4 Thursday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Thursday. KSU won four of six singles matches and held on to take one doubles point for the win. With their third 5-4 loss to a ranked team in the last 10 days, the Rebels fell to 10-8 overall while the Wildcats improved to 9-4.
