Harrah's Entertainment Inc. expects to soon see a profit from its stake in Las Vegas-based National Airlines, a top company executive said Thursday.
Harrah's Chief Operating Officer Gary Loveman told Bloomberg News he expects the airline to turn a profit "in the very near future," barring unforeseen difficulties.
"The outlook is quite bright as the Las Vegas market remains vibrant and the other airlines continue to put their capacity elsewhere," Loveman said.
The airline has consistently lost money since its founding two years ago.
