StumbleAG says no charges against acting UNR police chief

Colleen Barnett, 29, claimed Meese shoved her and rammed her injured shoulder while she was taking tickets at the Feb. 20Elton John concert at Lawlor Events Center.
Meese denied the allegation.
On Thursday, Deputy Attorney General Dave Neidert said the case basically boils down to Meese's word against Barnett's.
Without independent witnesses, there is no evidence to pursue charges, he said.
