Letter: God gives us wisdom to vote

Jerry Falwell is a "uniter." He led many people in building Liberty University, which has brought in thousands of students. God's word says that I am to learn the truth that makes me free. God gives us truth for he gives us wisdom as we request it in accordance with his will. People occupy positions of power in God's will and we are obligated to pray for those in authority. As "born-again believers" we should pray for God to give us wisdom to discern those for whom we should vote and to occupy authority over us. We are to pray without ceasing!

Many hold public office for whom we did not vote, even though we prayed for wisdom before we voted. We are still required to pray for those elected to public office, even though we did not vote for them.

I search for much truth from the print media, television and radio. Also, I seek information from Dr. James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and many others. From all of these sources, and with all the wisdom that God has given me, I am ready to mark my ballot.

I am thankful to God for the wisdom he gives me and all others as we can exercise our freedom to vote in accordance with his will. God bless America so that we can love one another under his will!

Every true American should always vote! This action on our part continues to ensure our freedom.
