Kansas Senate committee reviews proposal for expanded gambling

Woodlands lobbyist Brad Smoot said the bill is a way to recapture the dollars Kansans now spend in river boat casinos in Missouri and at four casinos operated by Indian tribes in northeast Kansas.
Smoot estimated the machines would generate 260 (m) million annually in revenues.
