International Training in Communication, a group with two local chapters, maintains that the biggest barriers facing organizations as they set out to accomplish their goals are meetings that are not run smoothly.
For the 31st straight year, ITC's two local chapters are holding a seminar on how to run meetings according to Robert's Rules of Order.
The seminar runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Community College of Southern Nevada, Building C, Rooms 209 and 210, 6375 W. Charleston Blvd.
Two classes will be offered, basic and advanced. Pre-registration is $45 and checks should be payable to: ITC Seminar, Vegas Valley Club. Checks should be mailed by March 20 to Lois Rohay, P.O. Box 28228, Las Vegas, NV, 89126-2228.
The registrant's name, address, telephone number and organization, if applicable, should accompany the check, along with the preference for either the basic or advanced class. Registration at the door is $55.
The seminar is sponsored by the two local ITC chapters, the Vegas Valley Club and the Silver Key Club. Those attending will receive handout materials.
