Monday, March 20, 2000 | 9:46 a.m.
Deanna Brown, 26, died Sunday at Washoe Medical Center, nearly a week after the accident on West 7th Avenue in Sun Valley.
Brown was a passenger in a car driven by 35-year-old Debra Hall. Washoe County sheriff's deputies said Hall was traveling at a high rate of speed when her car drifted into oncoming traffic.
Hall and another passenger, Cory Evans, 31, remained hospitalized Monday.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash continued and toxicology results were pending, authorities said.
