Robert Ashton
Robert Ashton, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1925, in England. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired newspaper distributor for the Las Vegas Sun and served in the British Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie; one son, Jim Tucker of Las Vegas; one daughter, Janet Foulk of Morgan Hill, Calif.; one brother, Fred Ashton of Oceanside, Calif.; two sisters, Nancy Read of England, and Betty Tanase of Detroit; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund, 800 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107.
Linda Billings
Linda Billings, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1961, in Oneida, Tenn. A resident for six months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Michael Libby of Las Vegas; and her mother, Virginia Billings of Oneida.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Oneida. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Rosemary Jo Collins
Rosemary Jo Collins, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 23, 1942, in San Antonio. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Hugh; seven children, Susie, Jimmy, Gene, Mary, Jerry, Vickie and Gary, all of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. services Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Earl Ellwood Faires
Earl Ellwood Faires, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A truck driver and Army veteran, he was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, Earl Faires of Orange, Calif.; one daughter, Beverly Demarco of Washington state; one brother, Charles Faires of Athens, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Ohio. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Angel Medina
Angel Medina, 13 days, of Las Vegas died March 13 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 29.
He is survived by his mother, Raquel Medina of Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Duane E. Noyes
Duane E. Noyes, 80, of Omaha, Neb., died Feb. 25 in Omaha. He was born Sept. 14, 1914, in Linton, N.D. A former Las Vegas resident for 27 years until October 1996, he was employed by the Nevada Gaming Commission, the FBI and Belmont racetrack. He was an Army captain and World War II veteran who received the Bronze Star. He received a bachelor's degree in business from Creighton University and a degree in animal husbandry from California State Poly Tech University in San Luis Obispo.
He is survived by one sister, Mildred Hadfield of Mondamin, Iowa. Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home, Missouri Valley, Iowa, handled arrangements.
Louis A. Pedroza
Louis A. Pedroza, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 18, 1951, in Tucson, Ariz. A resident for seven years, he was a keno writer at the Mirage.
He is survived by one daughter, Twila Pedroza of Walnut, Calif.; three brothers, Raymond Pedroza of Highland, Calif., and Alfonso Duran and David Duran, both of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Sylvia Nelson of Minden, Gloria Pedroza of Fairfield, Calif., and Bettina Duran of Azusa, Calif.
A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. H St. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Judith Pequignot
Judith Pequignot, 53, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 21 years, she was an entertainer for many years. She is survived by one brother, Bruce Erwin Jr. of Australia.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Frank Petrelli
Frank Petrelli, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Italy. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired gaming floorman, a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 8.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, James Brian Petrelli of Las Vegas and Frank Petrelli of San Diego; one sister, Isabell Bavaro of Modesto, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Patrick Edward Phillips
Patrick Edward Phillips, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1931, in Alabama. A resident for 32 years, he was a fire protection engineer, a veteran and a member of Acacia 49 Masonic Lodge, Zelzah Shrine and Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; two sons, Matt Phillips and Craig Phillips, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Tracey Paquette of Ireland and Karla Blakemore of Las Vegas; one sister, Dori Cavellaro of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Acacia Lodge, North Las Vegas. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

George G. Ripley Jr.
George G. Ripley Jr., 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Washington state. A resident for two years, he was a sanitation worker and a veteran.
He is survived by one son, Jerry McLain of Las Vegas; and one sister, Ruth Johnson of Idaho.

Ramona R. Snider
Ramona R. Snider, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Santa Ana, Calif. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Hartley; seven sons, Robert Sifuentes of Orlando, Fla., Henry Sifuentes, Andy Sifuentes and Phillip Snider, all of Las Vegas, Greg Sifuentes of Santa Maria, Calif., Dennis Sifuentes of San Diego and Billy Sifuentes of Folsom, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Jane Mota of San Diego; one sister, Elaine Rodriguez of Fullerton, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Fred Sutton
Fred Sutton, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 11, 1912, in Sutton, W.Va. A resident for three years, he was a retired contractor and World War II Army and Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Stellavato of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
