Capt. Larry Steven Gann, 51, was arrested during Friday night's St. Patrick's Day celebration in downtown Reno.
He's accused of committing several traffic violations and failing a field sobriety test.
Reno police beefed up their downtown patrols for the St. Patrick's celebration.
