LV office space outsourcer sold

New York-based VANTAS Inc. acquired six office locations, including one in Las Vegas, from property management and leasing firm Western Business Centers of Carlsbad, Calif.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. VANTAS spokeswoman Maria Montenegro said as a result of the deal, the company is now subleasing 20,269 square feet of Class A office space formerly run by WBC at 3753 Howard Hughes Parkway.
The Hughes Center location has 51 individual office spaces, and 10 mini-suites.
Both VANTAS and WBC manage and outsource flex office space and on-site technology to companies in office centers nationwide.
The Hughes property is VANTAS' second Las Vegas location. Earlier this month, VANTAS acquired 21,933-square-feet of Class A office space at City Center West, 7251 W. Lake Mead Blvd. in Summerlin.
In April, VANTAS is slated to complete its merger with Dallas-based HQ Global Workplaces; following the merger, the newly-formed company will be the nation's largest workplace solutions firm and will adopt the HQ Global name.
HQ currently has two locations in Metropolitan Las Vegas, at 3960 Hughes Center and 701 North Green Valley Parkway in Henderson.
