UNLV's Vladimir Pavicevic earned his first ranking as a Rebel in the WingspanBank.com Collegiate Rankings. Pavicevic, who rose to as high as No. 11 in the nation on Sept. 19, 1998, while playing at South Carolina, moved into the 82nd spot in this week's singles rankings. Last week's MWC player of the week has won six of his last seven matches, including defeating then-sixth-ranked Matt Amgwerd of New Mexico. Pavicevic is the first UNLV men's player to be ranked since Asaf Tishler closed his career at No. 45 in June. On the women's side, top player Katarina Malec fell 21 spots to No. 41 after losing to an unranked opponent late last month.
