The UNLV golf team dropped one spot to No. 10 in the latest edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. Georgia Tech remained the nation's No. 1 team and Mountain West Conference rival BYU was listed eighth.
Individually, Rebel senior Jeremy Anderson improved one place to No. 8 and was the league's top-ranked golfer. Anderson's teammate Michael Kirk came in at the 39th spot. Clemson's D.J. Trahan, who won last weekend's Las Vegas Intercollegiate in a three-hole playoff, was listed at No. 10.
The Rebels get back into action at the Cleveland Golf/Morris Williams Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday in Austin, Texas.
