Comedian Rodney Dangerfield was hospitalized Thursday for unknown reasons, a day after he wrapped up a six-night performance at the MGM Grand hotel-casino.
Dangerfield was admitted to Sunrise Hospital early Thursday and was in stable condition, hospital spokeswoman Ann Lynch said.
She would not say why he was hospitalized.
MGM officials also had no comment other than to say Dangerfield had performed Wednesday night.
Anita Gorevski, Dangerfield's business manager in Los Angeles, said she knew nothing about the incident.
