StumbleRebels softball team splits in Louisiana

The UNLV softball team completed the USL Mini-Tourney Sunday with a 5-2 victory over Eastern Illinois and a 6-0 loss to No. 15 and host Louisiana-Lafayette.
The Rebels are now 13-9 on the season and will be participating in the Kia Classic Tournament starting Wednesday at Fullerton, Calif. UNLV will compete against No. 20 DePaul, No. 10 Oregon St., and No. 5 Oklahoma in the Rebels toughest road trip of the year.
The Rebels' next home stand will be on March 29 against Fullerton.
