Take a handgun -- preferably loaded -- and place it on a table or desk near you, then see how long it takes that gun to shoot. It will not unless an irresponsible human being picks it up and pulls the trigger.
Now you have the correct information. Not someone who is totally unknowledgeable on the subject. So please do not condemn people who have guns. They are a secure way to protect our homes and family, since we cannot depend on law enforcement.
