Thursday, March 9, 2000 | 9:28 a.m.
Officer Rosi Myers was attacked around 11 a.m. Wednesday while responding to a report of the dogs running free, authorities said.
The dogs reportedly attacked Myers from different directions. She suffered bites to her leg, arm and back. She was taken to Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
Other officers helped round up the animals, which have been quarantined.
The owners were not immediately located, but authorities said they will be cited for allowing their dogs to run loose.
