Rose Beckerman
Rose Beckerman, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth I. Beckerman of Mill Valley, Calif.
Services were scheduled 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Peter J. Bosrock
Peter J. Bosrock, 83, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Michigan. A longtime resident, he was a quality control manager.
He is survived by his wife, Violet.
Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson is handling arrangements.
Jayne D. Brennan
Jayne D. Brennan, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 27, 1921, in Evanston, Ill. A resident for six years, she was a retired rental manager.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth M.; two sons, Howard H. Herrick of Las Vegas and Robert W. Herrick of Santa Maria, Calif.; one sister, Ottilie Zysk of Grand Haven, Mich.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Friday in Palm, Cheyenne. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
June B. Catmull
June B. Catmull, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 27, 1916, in Rafton, Idaho. A resident for 1-1/2 years, she was a retired high school teacher of art and home economics.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Cory of Las Vegas, Reyene Robbins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marilyn Grace of Heber City, Utah; one son, Curt Catmull of Provo, Utah; two brothers, Paul Bateman of Rupert, Idaho, and John Bateman of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Lucy Hofreiter of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
George L. Collins Jr
George L. Collins Jr., 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired graphic illustrator in the aircraft industry and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby N.; two sons, George L. Collins of Maplewood, N.J., and Gary L. Collins of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Ina Mae Day of Lakeview Terrace, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Vernon Lamar Densley
Vernon Lamar Densley, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1937, in Murray, Utah. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired teacher.
He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Steven Don Bourne, and one daughter, Allison Williams, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Randal Densley of San Diego and Darren Densley of Las Vegas; his mother, Marie Densley of American Fork, Utah; one sister, Loraine Watkins of Alpine, Utah; three brothers, Kenneth Densley of Carmichael, Calif., Vaughn Densley of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Roger Densley of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS Francisco Park Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Jesse Frances Dodd Jr
Jesse Frances Dodd Jr, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Illinois. A resident for 55 years, he was a sheet metal worker.
He is survived by his fiancee, Debbie Clemmons, two daughters, Debra Davila and Josie Dodd, two sons, Jess Dodd and Bert Davila, and two sisters, Phylis Dodd and Frances Intravia, all of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are scheduled 3 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery.
John H. Grimes
John H. Grimes, 77, of Las Vegas and Tetonia, Idaho, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Dover, N.H. A winter resident for 20 years, he was a retired telephone company construction foreman and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nora E.; one stepson, David Price of Garden Valley, Idaho; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled two hours prior to 2 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Sam Kloner
Sam Kloner, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 4, 1926, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 34 years, he was a hotel beverage steward and a World War II Merchant Marine veteran.
He is survived by two sisters, Ida Allison of Riverside, Calif., and Molly Duetch of Farmington Hills, Mich.
Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Thomas R. Licata
Thomas R. Licata, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired hotel superintendent of service, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Italian American Club of Las Vegas.
He is survived by one son, Thomas Licata, and one sister, Josephine Terbeek, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled three hours prior to a 7 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services in Palm, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Pedro Goimco Mallari Sr
Pedro Goimco Mallari Sr, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Angelus City, Philippines. A resident for 5 1/2 years, he was a chemical engineer for Price Pfister, Black and Decker and Norris Industries.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia, two sons, Pedro C. Mallari Jr. and Jude Mallari, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Bernadette M. Aberbeen of Burbank, Calif.; four brothers, Cirilo Mallari Jr. of Hawaii, Pacifico G. Mallari of Virginia, and Cirilo Mallari III and Fransisco Mallari, both of California; two sisters, Mila Gros M. Hansen of Stockton, Calif., and Edwina Mallari of California; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services are 10 a.m. March 16 in Guardian Angel Cathedral. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Anthony J. Mami Sr
Anthony J. Mami Sr, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1926, in New York City. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired limousine owner-operator and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lenolyn; nine daughters, Sandra Guarino and Gail Mallon, both of Clearwater, Fla., Dale D'Angelino, Lorraine Papania, Janice Henderson, Carolyn Garcia, Tina Dishari and Donna McFarland, all of Las Vegas, and Christine Mami of Reno; four sons, Anthony Mami Jr. and Michael Mami, both of Las Vegas, Lenny Mami of New York and Christopher Mami of Rhode Island; 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled four hours prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Mary Helen Moore
Mary Helen Moore, 57, of Las Vegas died March 3 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Mississippi. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Roddy and Danny, one daughter, Karen, two brothers, Clifton and Richard, and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church. Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
James Henry Powell
James Henry Powell, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1921, in Texas. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel.
He is survived by three sons, James W. Powell, Steven Powell and Tommy Walker, and two sisters, Frances O'Brien and Carolyn Boswell, all of Texas; three brothers, Richard Powell of Reno, William Powell of Virginia and Edward Powell of Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Josephine P. Rogers
Josephine P. Rogers, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 6, 1916, in Arizona. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; and one sister, Tonsa Shaulis of Irvine, Calif.

Victor Ruesch
Victor Ruesch, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 19, 1913, in Springdale, Utah. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired construction superintendent.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Ruesch.
He is survived by four sons, Lamar Ruesch and Merwin Ruesch, both of Las Vegas, Lynn Ruesch of St. George, Utah, and Ronny Ruesch of Pahrump; two brothers, Rupert Ruesch of Springdale and Allan Ruesch of Provo, Utah; 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Springdale LDS chapel.
Eulalia Saenz
Eulalia Saenz, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 1, 1916, in Mexico. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Rachel Trevino of Seattle, Olga Ernest of Breckenridge, Texas, and Esther Chick and Yolanda Banales, both of Las Vegas; four sons, Joe Saenz of San Antonio, George Saenz of San Jose, Calif., and Robert Saenz and Roland Saenz, both of Las Vegas; 29 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Memory Gardens.
Conrad Sandoval
Conrad Sandoval, 25, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1975, in California. A resident for several years, he was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Serena; and his mother, Maria F. Pescador.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Charles J. Spain Jr.
Charles J. Spain Jr., 60, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, he was a security guard.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Davis of Colorado; and one son, David Spain.
Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Sylvia Stein
Sylvia Stein, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1937, in Toledo, Ore. A resident for 33 years, he was a caterer.
She is survived by her husband, Dewain; three sons, Mitchell Stein of Michigan and Jaysen and Cezanne Stein of St. George, Utah; one brother, Paul Irish of Oregon; two sisters, Viola Tyler of Michigan and Vera Irish of Oregon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 3090 Mountain Vista St. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Roy Thomas
Roy Thomas, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 24, 1940, in Deinville, La. A resident for 36 years, he was a member of Stagehands Local 720 for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Delight; five sons, Roy Lee III, Ronnie Lee, Roy Lee II, Victor Smith and Quintin Ott; four daughters, Yvette Thomas, Mokota Thomas, Bobbie Hicks and Desiree Hosteller; one brother, Leon Thomas; one sister, Leola Stewart; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
