Police roll snake eyes for craps game thieves

Timothy Green, 50, of Council Bluffs and Robert DeMaris, 44, of Mason City are charged with first-degree theft and cheating at a gambling table.

Green had been employed at a craps table since the casino opened in 1994. DeMaris was a customer on Feb. 17 when the alleged theft occurred.

Green was fired and faces trial May 16. Trial has not been set for DeMaris.

The Division of Criminal Investigation did not offer details of how the theft occurred.
