Louise Bergman

Louise Bergman, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Aberdeen, Wash. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Bette Leal of Las Vegas; one son, Palmer Bergman of Waukegan, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Francis Gerald Calhoon

Francis Gerald Calhoon, 68, of Las Vegas died Feb. 12 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Iowa. A resident for many years, he was a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mitzi; three brothers, John Calhoon, Ken Calhoon and Clifford Calhoon; and one sister, Shirley.

Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Myrtice L. Griggs Carroll

Myrtice L. Griggs Carroll, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 26, 1911, in Unadilla, Ga. A resident for 48 years, she was retired from Nevada Power Co.

She is survived by two nieces, Pamela Day of Las Vegas and Ann Weinberg of California.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to 1 p.m. services Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Barbara Lee Collins

Barbara Lee Collins, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 2, 1939, in Greeley, Colo. A resident for nine years, she was a retired title clerk for an automobile sales office.

She is survived by one son, Casey W. Collard of Dillon, Colo.; three sisters, Carol Buhr-Dolan of Evans, Colo., Margaret Diane Schemp of Peoria, Ariz., and Kitty White of Hillrose, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Elizabeth Cooper

Elizabeth Cooper, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Louisiana. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired hotel supervisor.

She is survived by four daughters, Marguerite Thompson and Ruth Washington, both of Las Vegas, Sherrill Cooper of Compton, Calif., and Laura Cooper of Oakland, Calif.; six sons, Alonzo Bryant, Larry Cooper, Martin Cooper, Barry Cooper and Dwaine Cooper, all of Las Vegas, and Robert Cleveland of Los Angeles; one sister, Ernestine Bolds of San Francisco; 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jose M. Fallacara

Jose M. Fallacara, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Argentina. A resident for 21 years, he was an auto body repairman.

He is survived by his wife, Marta; one son, Fernando Fallacara, and one stepson, Javier Mendez, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be at the family home. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

John Patrick Garley

John Patrick Garley, 45, of Las Vegas died Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1954, in England. A resident for seven years, he was a janitor.

He is survived by his father, John Joseph Garley of Florida; his mother, Dorothy Pravednekow, and one brother, Tom Garley, both of Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Jeremy Wade Goeppert

Jeremy Wade Goeppert, 22, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1977, in Sierra Vista, Ariz. A lifelong resident, he was an artist.

He is survived by his mother, Monika Goeppert, his stepmother, Linda Brownley, and two brothers, Shawne Goeppert and Richard Brownley, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Brandy Goeppert of Arizona; and his grandmothers, Frieda Gould and Mary Brownley, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.

Celia Weisenberg Goldstein

Celia Weisenberg Goldstein, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born April 16, 1917, in Indianapolis. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Roberta Wurzman of Indianapolis, Donna Epstein of Las Vegas and Karen Berkey-Patterson of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Phyllis Lorraine Johns

Phyllis Lorraine Johns, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Trinidad, Colo. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Deborah Resch of Gardena, Calif., and Wanda Meeker of Las Vegas; four sons, Robert Johns Jr. of Palmdale, Calif., Richard Johns and Steven Johns, both of Las Vegas, and Mark Johns of Seattle; four sisters, Antoinette Cummings of Knoxville, Tenn., Sandra Olivas of Chatsworth, Calif., Sharon Wendler of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Kathleen Silva of Fontana, Calif.; two brothers, Rodney Olivas of Thousand Oaks and Michael Olivas of Culver City, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. A private burial will follow.

Lee A. Jones

Lee A. Jones, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 27, 1926, in Hartstown, Pa. A resident for 16 years, he was a schoolteacher and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Juliana; one son, Brad Jones of Moorestown, N.J.; one sister, Mary Joho of Sharon, Pa.; one brother, Richard Jones of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Randall D. Keith

Randall D. Keith, 41, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1958, in Covina, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he performed installation and maintenance at shopping malls.

He is survived by his mother, Clarice Schaller of Barstow, Calif.; and two sisters, Kim Keith and Kelly Keith, both of California.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church, Barstow, Calif. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ruth F. LeFevre

Ruth F. LeFevre, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 9, 1912, in Burleson County, Texas. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired saleswoman and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by four daughters, Ruth Burt and Harriet McKague, both of Las Vegas, and Dessie Neathery and Eva Jawork, both of California; 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Robert Nye

Robert Nye, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 11, 1943, in Greeley, Colo. A resident for 20 years, he was a registered nurse at Valley Hospital for 13 years, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a graduate of the UNLV School of Nursing.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Cambra Nye of Las Vegas and Cristina Creech of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one son, Bob Nye of Royal Oak, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

Ransom Monroe O'Brien

Ransom Monroe O'Brien, 84, of Indian Springs died Saturday in Indian Springs. He was born July 16, 1915, in Oklahoma. A resident for 40 years, he was a plumber, a veteran and a lifetime member and grand master of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one son, Jack O'Brien of Washington state; and one stepdaughter, Ralene Cox of Oregon.

William A. 'Bud' O'Dea

William A. "Bud" O'Dea, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Caddo, Okla. A resident for 43 years, he retired as a teacher from Rancho High School after 26 years, was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Sooner Club of Las Vegas and a member of the Southern Nevada Coaches Hall of Fame in track and field.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Delavega and Patricia Kelley, and one son, Michael O'Dea, all of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Fay Melba Robbins

Fay Melba Robbins, 83, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1916, in Oregon. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker and a veteran.

She is survived by her husband, James R.; one brother, Allen Mirgon of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; two sisters, Louise Young of Denver and Lela Mirgon of San Francisco; and one grandchild.

Raymond F. Ross

Raymond F. Ross, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 5, 1916, in Allentown, Pa. A resident for eight years, he was a retired sales manager for a diesel engine company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Beckers of Hemet, Calif.; one son, Alan Dark of Murrieta, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Jimmy Baxter Sellards

Jimmy Baxter Sellards, 61, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1938, in Mount Gay, W.Va. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired engineer and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Lisa Ponczoch of Richland, Wash., and Lori Schwartz of Camas, Wash.; one son, John Sellards, and one sister, Aleta Marcum, both of London, Ky.; three brothers, Benny Sellards of Whitman, W.Va., Harry Ronald Sellards of London and Larry Donald Sellards of New Bern, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the First Church of the Nazarene, 3825 Pecos Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Mary Skupien, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 18, 1913, in Illinois. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Rich Skupien of Las Vegas.

Richard Warner Stone

Richard Warner Stone, 61, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Miami, Okla. A resident for four years, he was retired.

He is survived by two sons, Kerry Stone of Atlanta and Anthony Stone of Columbia, S.C.; one daughter, Kelly Gamble of Henderson; three brothers, Daryl Stone, Greg Stone and Chris Stone, all of Oklahoma; two sisters, Pat Runce of Missouri and Shirley Helms of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.

Frank J. Supak

Frank J. Supak, 62, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Houston. A resident for seven years, he was a retired audio engineer, a Navy veteran, a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees locals 33 and 720 and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; three daughters, Yvette Mazboudi of Pacific Palisades, Calif., Charlene Brewer of Los Angeles and Stacy Supak of Boulder City; one son, Scott Supak of Canyon Country, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Peter "RugHead" Tomich, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired ironworker, a member of Iron Workers Local 1 and the Masonic Tri-Lumbar Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, John Tomich of Griffith, Ind., and Peter Tomich of Chicago; two daughters, Cyndy Wasso and Michele Tomich, and one brother, George Tomich, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Mary Lou Tomich and Helen Nowicki, both of Chicago, and Anna Kuehl of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Gladys M. Turner, 91, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1908, in Heber City, Utah. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Ann Scott of Las Vegas, Jude Bastien of Chase, British Columbia, and Joyce Diane Bee of Portland, Ore.; one son, Joseph Grant Turner of Fort Collins, Colo.; one brother, Cuthbert Murdoch of Ogden, Utah; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Virginia Helen White

Virginia Helen White, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 26, 1931, in Warriorsmark, Pa. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired hotel head of housekeeping.

She is survived by one daughter, Jeanette Tolley of North Las Vegas; and one sister, Sandra Pagel of Gainesville, Fla.

A.G. Williams

A.G. Williams, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Alfred, Texas. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired owner of the first licensed exterminating company in Nevada, A.G. Williams Exterminating.

He is survived by his cousin, Peggy Couch of Lubbock, Texas.

Adam J. Wright, 18, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Aug. 2, 1981, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a student.

He is survived by his parents, Sandra and James Wright, two brothers, Brad Wright and Colorado Parr, one stepbrother, Adam Sheldon, and one stepsister, Jessica Sheldon, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Virginia Haas of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Dolores and Joe Kirby of Phoenix.
