Las Vegas-Spokane service begins tonight

America West Airlines begins nonstop service between Las Vegas and Spokane, Wash., tonight.
Phoenix-based America West kicked off Spokane service with three daily flights between the eastern Washington city and Phoenix today.
The Las Vegas flight leaves McCarran International Airport at 7:58 p.m., arriving in Spokane at 10:28 p.m. The return flight leaves Spokane at 12:42 a.m., arriving at McCarran at 3:12 a.m.
America West will compete with Southwest Airlines, which has a Saturday round-trip nonstop flight, on the Spokane route.
