Jurors found Martha Georg guilty of three Class A misdemeanor gambling charges, each of which carries penalties of up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $4,000. She was charged last year with keeping a gambling place, possession of a gambling device and gambling promotion.
Georg ran the Store of Florence, in the town of the same name, about 40 miles north of Austin.
The three machines and about $2,400 in gambling proceeds from the store will be forfeited to the state.
Texas Attorney General John Cornyn said charges are still pending against Georg's three co-defendants: Henry Brizedine of Florence, who also is involved with the store; and Harold Riewe of Austin and Michael Johnson of Pflugerville with Alois Amusement, which owned the gambling devices.
The Williamson County Attorney's office also has charges pending against Alois Amusement.
