Learn how to surf the waves of technology
An Internet class is being offered 6 p.m. Wednesday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. Call 633-1070.
Henderson workshop stresses control
An anger management workshop will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Silver Springs Recreation Center, 1951 Silver Springs Parkway, Henderson. Cost is $25. Call 435-3814.
Presentation touches on angels and healing
A presentation by Clementine Marie Giovannetti on her new book, "Diary of a Healer: A Love Story (Part 1)" will be given 7:30-10:30 p.m. Friday at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.
The presentation will feature a slide show to music, followed by a discourse about Giovannetti's experiences with healing and angels. Call 878-3597.
March is marked by Spring Job Fair
Community College of Southern Nevada and the Nevada State Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation will present a Spring Job Fair 2-6 p.m. Thursday at the Community College of Southern Nevada, 700 College Drive, in Henderson.
Program to examine fraud and abuse
The local chapter of the Nevada Medical Group Management Association will hold a program to explain the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Fraud and Abuse at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Sunrise Hospital auditorium, 3186 S. Maryland Parkway. Cost is $5 for members and $10 for others. For more information call Stuart at 648-5700.
