Ronald J. Bodas

Ronald J. Bodas, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 35 years, he was a restaurant manager and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Rod Snider, and one brother, Sean Bodas, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be private.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Belvin Bonner Brown

Belvin Bonner Brown, 88, of Tecopa, Calif., died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 30, 1911, in Louisiana. A former Las Vegas resident, he was an equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Lucinda; two daughters, Gail Baugus of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Bonner Brown of Austin, Texas; one sister, Jewel King of Tecopa; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.

Lucian Alexander Catanzaro

Lucian Alexander Catanzaro, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 4, 1925, in Marfrance, W.Va. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired restaurateur and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Theressa; one daughter, Luciana Catanzaro of Las Vegas; one stepson, Robert Jammer of Gainesville, Fla.; his mother, Rose Catanzaro, one brother, Alfred Catanzaro, and three sisters, Margo Turner, Evangeline O'Conner and Dolores Herrle, all of South San Francisco; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Shadow Mountain Village Clubhouse. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Rose Marie Gloede

Rose Marie Gloede, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Franksville, Wis. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey; three daughters, Lily Ann Brown of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Cynthia Joy Monzo of Las Vegas and Lori Siegel of Caledonia, Wis.; one sister, Shirley Mahoney of St. Germain, Wis.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home, Racine, Wis., is handling out-of-state arrangements. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling local arrangements.

Rafael G. Gonzalez

Rafael G. Gonzalez, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1910, in Guadalajara, Mexico. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired farm laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Geronima; four daughters, Martha Trejo, Sara Flores, Maria Nevarez and Paula Chavez, and two sons, Silvino Gonzalez and Antonio Gonzalez, all of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Bunker's Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Donald T. Grigsby

Donald T. Grigsby, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born March 18, 1928, in Medford, Ore. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired technician for microwaves and electronics, a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the U.S. Power Squadron, Las Vegas chapter.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria; one daughter, Patricia Anderson of Las Vegas; one son, Kenneth Grigsby of Canyon Lake, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lori Jean Hacker

Lori Jean Hacker, 46, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1953, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A resident for 12 years, she was an administrative assistant for a moving company.

She is survived by her husband, James; her father, Cecil G. Nelson of Dunkerton, Iowa; and two brothers, Victor Nelson of Utah and Ken Nelson of Iowa City, Iowa.

A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Berta Inez Harmon

Berta Inez Harmon, 60, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 3, 1940, in Waycross, Ga. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion and commander of the Ladies Auxiliary of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12 in Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Roger A.; one daughter, Stephanie Marie Harmon of Daytona Beach, Fla.; two brothers, R.C. Williams of Anaheim, Calif., and T.E. Williams of Pell City, Ala.; one sister, Catheleen Dillon of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be noon Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Frank K. Holbert, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Loomis, Wash. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired automobile mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; two daughters, Sharon Badolato of Las Vegas and Debbie Gill of Highland Park, Ill.; one son, Keith Holbert of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jerry Holbert of Jacksonville, Ore., and Dale Holbert of Mendocino, Calif.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Cecil T. Isaacs Jr.

Cecil T. Isaacs Jr., 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Cambridge, Mass. A resident for five years, he was a retired employee of United Airlines, an Air Force tech sergeant, a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and International Aerospace Machinist and Workers Union.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Theresa Isaacs of Emeryville, Calif., and Annette Isaacs of South San Francisco; one son, Angelo Isaacs of Las Vegas; two sisters, Katherine Smith of West Medford, Mass., and Virginia Dean of San Leandro, Calif.; one brother, Edward Clayton of West Medford; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 Maryland Parkway. Services and burial will be in Hayward, Calif. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Tom Lombardo

Tom Lombardo, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Wood, Pa. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired warehouseman and member of the Teamsters Union and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; two sons, Philip Lombardo and Charles Lombardo, and one daughter, Isabelle Kuntz, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Pauline Greco of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Freddie Diago McClodden

Freddie Diago McClodden, 35, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. A lifelong resident, he was born Jan. 31, 1965, in a local hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlan St. Jude; one son, Freddie McClodden Jr., two daughters, Jasmine McClodden and Alisha McClodden, and his mother, Minnie Sparks, all of Las Vegas; seven sisters, Wanda Dumore, Belinda Burns, Phillis Burns, Patricia McClodden, Amber McClodden and Jasmine McClodden, all of Las Vegas, and Doris McClodden of Tucson, Ariz.; and three brothers, Fredrick Neal and Cedric McClodden, both of Las Vegas, and Tuferral McClodden of Chicago.

Services will be noon-7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Christopher Paul Petty

Christopher Paul Petty, 25, of Reno died Monday in Reno. He was born Dec. 7, 1974, in Reno. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a bartender at Chucksters Bar and did painting and drywall.

He is survived by his parents, Belinda and John Petty, one sister, Carla Farias, and his grandmother, Dorothy F. Petty, all of Reno.

Dixie Rose Thompson

Dixie Rose Thompson, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 13, 1919, in Maryville, Tenn. A resident for 61 years, she was a retired hotel inspectress.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth McQueen, and her mother, Margaret Biel, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

George Oliver Winkler

George Oliver Winkler, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 1, 1915, in Indiana. A resident for 18 years, he was an immigration investigator for the federal government for 26 years, a Marine Corps veteran, a former member of the American Legion and the Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille.
