Del Rusher has resigned as vice president of the Greenspun Media Group. Rusher, who joined the group in July, left this week to pursue other interests, company spokesman Phil Cooper said.
Rusher said today he needed time to handle a family emergency.
Rusher was responsible for the development of new publishing opportunities for the group, which includes Las Vegas Life, Showbiz Weekly and VegasGolfer magazines and the Las Vegas Weekly newspaper. He formerly was a group publisher and vice president of Primedia, a media group in Peoria, Ill.
The Greenspun Media Group is owned by the Greenspun family, which also owns the Las Vegas Sun.
