A federal grant of more than $1.2 million will go toward developing six centers for mental health services.
The grant is from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and is the second of five such payments to be received by the Clark County Division of Child and Family Services.
The total of the five-year grant is $6.3 million. Two neighborhood centers, one in Henderson and one in North Las Vegas, have already been built with the money.
The next two centers are scheduled to be built in Moapa Valley and in southwest Las Vegas.
