Las Vegas-based brokerage firm Financial Marketing Inc. plans to go public and use the capital raised to expand its advertising efforts and solidify its reserves.
The company has hired Las Vegas-based GoPublicCentral.com to assist with its placement on the over-the-counter bulletin board. Financial Marketing President Robert Burley said taking the company public will initially raise about $140,000.
Founded in 1981, FMI employs 13 people and will handle about $25 million in transactions this year.
