Letter: Take responsibility for your children

1. Park car
2. Turn car off
3. Take keys with me
4. Most important, take kids with me
It's a 30-second process -- strap them in, unstrap them. You should never think, "I'll be just a minute," because in that minute a lot can happen, as we've all heard and read.
People, we had these children and now it's up to us to protect them in any manner that we can. Here are some choices you should instill in yourself: Either have someone watch them or wait till you can find someone. Either way, don't make your children pay for your mistakes, because in the long run it's you who will pay.
