Dan Greenlee, hydrologist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, said a storm that dumped up to 4 feet of snow over the weekend pushed Tahoe's snowpack to 109 percent of normal for the season.
"With six wet winters, we've broken the records for the last 100 years," he said.
An eight-year drought preceded the string of wet winters.
