Sprint sells unit

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sprint Corp. said Tuesday it agreed to sell the underground locating operations of its Nocuts Inc. subsidiary to privately held Asplundh Tree Expert Co., a Philadelphia company that provides vegetation management services to utilities.
Nocuts, based in Wake Forest, N.C., provides services to utilities, towns and cable companies. The services include locating pipes and wires underground as well as meter reading, plant engineering and sign placement.
