Reno-Tahoe airport use continues to decline

Airport officials counted 10.5 percent fewer arriving and departing passengers in January compared with the same month a year ago.
It was the 19th straight month that airport passenger counts fell below the same month the previous year, a trend largely blamed on flight reductions.
"We're certainly not going to sugarcoat this, it's (a concern). But we remain positive ... that this is a short-term issue," said airport spokesman Adam Mayberry.
