Friday, June 30, 2000 | 10:55 a.m.
A Las Vegas subcontractor is seeking to foreclose on Race Rock of Las Vegas LLC, alleging it is owed $73,826 for work on the downtown Las Vegas restaurant.
The defendants are the project's general contractor, Martin-Harris Construction; Fremont Street Experience Parking Corp., which is Race Rock's landlord; Pioneer Citizens Bank of Nevada and American Casualty Co. of Reading, Pa.
Vegas Steel Inc. said in a Clark County District Court lawsuit it agreed with Martin-Harris to work for an initial sum of $122,364. It said five change orders were made, raising the cost.
Martin-Harris officials couldn't be reached for comment.
