Elia Abrego
Elia Abrego, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1945, in Mexico. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Hector Gonzales of Nevada and Jose Mosquodo of California.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mexico. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Thomas Lee Brantley
Thomas Lee Brantley, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. Owner and operator of a heating and air conditioning business and a World War II Air Force veteran, he was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Big Springs, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Nan M.; two daughters, Teresa Long of Knoxville, Tenn., and Barbara Brantley of Novato, Calif.; one son, James Thomas Brantley II of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mae Werneke of Oklahoma City, Stella Eargle and Helen Allsbrook, both of Columbia, S.C., and Florine Blevins of Arabi, La.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
William Joseph Brown
William Joseph Brown, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 26, 1932, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, he was a restaurant bartender and an Army veteran.

Helen Carlock
Helen Carlock, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 2, 1916, in Tonopah. A lifelong resident, she was a bank manager.
She is survived by one grandson, Mike Rychtarik of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mike Conner
Mike Conner, 40, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 29, 1960, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for two months, he was a department store stockman.
He is survived by one sister, Verdie Palmer of Tulsa, Okla.

Patricia Inez Conway
Patricia Inez Conway, 49, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. A longtime resident, she was born Sept. 19, 1950.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Harry Edward Courtemanche
Harry Edward Courtemanche, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 25, 1937, in Laconia, N.H. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired core driller in the mining industry, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Elks and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Kollene; his mother, Eletha Burt of Franklin, N.H.; and five sisters, Virginia Fillion and Gail Stone, both of Franklin, Sandra Laughy of Tilton, N.H., Tanis Gates of Belmont, N.H., and Doreen Boisvert of Gilmanton, N.H.
Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Daniel Cummiskey
Daniel Cummiskey, 52, of Las Vegas died June 4 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 25, 1948, in California.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.
Bo Flatebo
Bo Flatebo, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1933, in Norwalk, Calif. A resident for 44 years, she was a hotel cocktail waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; one daughter, Bobbie Bandringa of Apple Valley, Calif.; one son, Doug Stadtlander of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Phyllis M. Gendre
Phyllis M. Gendre, 84, of Los Lunas, N.M., died June 20 in a New Mexico hospital. She was born March 19, 1916, in Onaga, Kan. A former Henderson resident, she was a retired legal secretary, past matron of Sunrise Chapter 28 in Las Vegas, past grand organist of the grand chapter state of Nevada, member of OES Jessamine Chapter 45 in Belen, N.M., and El Giza Temple Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Ankenman of Las Vegas and Sondra Wade of Los Lunas; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Mario Gatto
Mario Gatto, 68, of Mesquite died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 10, 1932, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired hotel assistant bar manager, Korean War Army veteran and an alumnus of Virgin Valley High School.
He is survived by one son, Mario Gatto II of Mesquite; two brothers, Joe Gatto and Sam Gatto, and one sister, Mary Gatto, all of Syracuse, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Meagan Susana Gonzalez-Whitehead
Meagan Susana Gonzalez-Whitehead, 6, of Pahrump died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 1994, in Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer Whitehead. She is survived by her stepfather, Mark Cater; her brothers, Jonathan and Jacob; her grandparents, Larry and Terry Whitehead; and great-grandfather, Harry Dunn.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. today in the LDS Christy Meadows chapel. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Burial will be in San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Lynda Hall and Caroline Krecklow
Caroline Krecklow, 68, of Pahrump and Lynda Hall, 35, of Las Vegas, mother and daughter, died Sunday in Las Vegas. Caroline was born April 22, 1932, in Minnesota, and Lynda was born May 2, 1965, in Washington state. Residents for three years, Caroline was a homemaker and Lynda was a produce manager at Albertson's.
They were preceded in death by Lynda's son, Patrick.
They are survived by Caroline's husband and Lynda's father, Fred Krecklow of Pahrump; Caroline's two daughters and Lynda's sisters, Casey Krecklow of Washington state and Billy Joe Baines of Georgia; Caroline's four sons and Lynda's brothers, Loren Lott, Robert Valenzuela, Larry Helige and Ervin Krecklow, all of Washington state; Caroline's three brothers, Jack, Dean and Bud; Caroline's three sisters, Marge, Doda and Edna; and Caroline's three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Sunday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd.
Bernard Rudolph Harbour
Bernard Rudolph Harbour, 81, of Longmont, Colo., died Sunday in Longmont. He was born Nov. 6, 1918, in New Boston, Texas. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a bakery salesman and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Jay Harbour of Longmont; one daughter, Janie Frisa of Las Vegas; one sister, Mrs. B.A. "Sue" Phillips of Louisiana; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial followed in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Julian Frank Johnson
Julian Frank Johnson, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Baxter Springs, Kan. A resident for nine years, he was a retired professor emeritus of chemistry at the University of Connecticut and a member of the American Chemical Society for 50 years.

Robert Kazen
Robert Kazen, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born April 16, 1921, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 36 years, he was a postal worker for 15 years and a World War II Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient.
He is survived by two sons, Irwin Kazen and Julius Kazen, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Richard James Keena Jr.
Richard James Keena Jr., 53, of Pahrump died Tuesday in Pahrump. He was born May 21, 1947, in South Dakota. A resident for six years, he was an engineering supervisor at Harrah's hotel-casino.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; four daughters; three stepsons, Bill Brewer and Kelly Corrow, both of Las Vegas, and Robert Lobato of Eugene, Ore.; three brothers, Tom Keena of Tucson, Ariz., Pat Keena of Lake Tahoe and Bill Keena of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Robinson and LuAnn O'Dwyer, both of Las Vegas; and several grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Peter Mote
Peter Mote, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1941, in San Francisco. A resident for five years, he was a geologist at an engineering company and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Peter Dewey Mote and Jesse Daniel Mote, both of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Michael Mote of Philadelphia and Dan Mote of College Park, Md.

Josephine P. Nelson
Josephine P. Nelson, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 7, 1913, in Boston. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired illustrator in the fashion industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta Manning of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Willis Nelson
Willis Nelson, 79, of Pahrump died June 26, 2000, in Pahrump. A funeral director and an Air Force veteran, he was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Hoskins, Neb.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Jimmy Ray Nelson of Wyoming and Charles D. Nelson of Iowa; and two daughters, Sharon Kay Liggett of Missouri and Wendy Sue Gibson of Nebraska.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Maudie L. Paige
Maudie L. Paige, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Timpson, Texas. A resident for one year, she was a private home housekeeper.
She is survived by one daughter, Gillis Carnes of North Las Vegas; one sister, Benny Mae Bussy of Timpson; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will be private.
Eva Anna Louise Pasutto
Eva Anna Louise Pasutto, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 19, 1941, in Canada. A resident for nine months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Alberta. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Eiko Terry Toda
Eiko Terry Toda, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1930, in Salt Lake City. A resident for five years, she was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Ryo; one daughter, Pam Shaw of San Jose, Calif.; one son, Craig Toda of Antioch, Calif.; two brothers, Sam Kotoku of Las Vegas and Kay Kotoku of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Lou Harada of Montebello, Calif., and Yo Sera of Covina, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
