U.S. Bancorp to acquire Scripps Financial

MINNEAPOLIS -- U.S. Bancorp on Tuesday announced an agreement to acquire Scripps Financial Corp. of San Diego in a stock transaction valued at about $155 million.
Scripps Financial, parent company of Scripps Bank, operates nine branches in the San Diego area and has $650 million in assets.
