Russell 'Steve' Alonso
Russell "Steve" Alonso, 50, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 11, 1949, in the Philippines. A resident for 38 years, he was a hotel bartender and a member of the Bartenders Union.
He is survived by his wife, Erminda; one son, Brian Alonso, and one daughter, Samantha Alonso, both of Las Vegas; his father, Fred Alonso of Albuquerque, N.M.; his mother, Helen Alonso, and two brothers, Jonathan Alonso and Levy Alonso, all of Orange County, Calif.; and two sisters, Eunice Scutton of Delaware and Sharon Balangead of Orange County.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
John L. Coleman
John L. Coleman, 41, of Nashville, Tenn., died Sunday in Nashville. He was born Aug. 13, 1958, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 37 years, he was a boxing trainer.
He is survived by his companion, Sharon Wilson, two daughters, Latoya Coleman and Crystal Coleman, three sons, Jahquel Coleman, Jawohn Coleman and John Coleman, his mother and stepfather, Leubirdia and James Jacobs, and one brother, Tyrone Coleman, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Carolyn Towers of Las Vegas and Connie Coleman of Reno; one stepbrother, Edward Jacobs of Las Vegas; one stepsister, Janet Bronson of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Aileen DeMarco
Aileen DeMarco, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born April 21, 1927, in Nevada City, Calif. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Forrest of Las Vegas; two sons, Chris DeMarco of Las Vegas and Gregg Miller of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Arnold Seymour 'Al' Glazer
Arnold Seymour "Al" Glazer, 72, of Las Vegas died June 8 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1927, in New York. A resident for six years, he was a banking industry salesman.
He is survived by one daughter, Luann Glazer of Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Private services will be Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.
Stephen J. Gula
Stephen J. Gula, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A chief engineer for Hughes Aircraft, a member of Masons 32 and the Zelzah Shrine Temple, he was born Feb. 14, 1913, in Chicopee, Mass.
He is survived by one nephew, John M. Gula of Hurst, Texas.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Rowland Hall
Rowland Hall, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 23, 1927, in England. A resident for many years, he was a contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara.
Burial will be in England. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Jolley Hilliard
Jolley Hilliard, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 15, 1910, in Roanoke, Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a rock and cement truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; and one daughter, Erlene Schulte of Las Vegas.

Emily Lentino
Emily Lentino, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1916, in Ozone Park, N.Y. A resident for seven months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Lentino of Las Vegas; one son, Frank Lentino of Valley Stream, N.Y.; and two brothers, Stanley Cidlowski of St. Pete Beach, Fla., and Victor Cidlowski of Smithtown, N.Y.

Richard M. Leonard
Richard M. Leonard, 70, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 19, 1929, in Cando, N.D. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired federal government criminal investigator, a Korean War Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association and Western States Livestock Investigators Association.
He is survived by his wife, Greta A.; one daughter, Suzanne Stephani of Flagstaff, Ariz.; one son, Scott Leonard of Henderson; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Albert Levine
Albert Levine, 78, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 1, 1922, in New York City. A resident for five years, he was a retired salesman for a cruise line and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Janet Freedman of Florida; one son, Barry Levine of Henderson; one sister, Mildred Gordon of Westchester, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Arthur Richard Liberty
Arthur Richard Liberty, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1919, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired railroad engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Tana Swartz of Las Vegas and Patricia Johns of Henderson; two sons, Dale Liberty of Tonopah and Jeffrey Liberty of Las Vegas; one brother, Jack Liberty of Spokane, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Peter Ogulnick
Peter Ogulnick, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1916, in Illinois. A resident for several years, he was an insurance consultant.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Ronald Ogulnick, one daughter, Elyse Lidman, and one sister, Annie Berman, all of California; one brother, Sy Ogulnick of Reno; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rufus F. Pate, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Crowder, Okla. A resident for 55 years, he was an aircraft welder at Nellis Air Force Base for 28 years, a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, David Pate of Henderson; one daughter, Mary Jo Pate Boyer of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Pater of Missouri; and two grandsons.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
John Penuelas Sr.
John Penuelas Sr., 66, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a Utah hospital. He was born June 4, 1934, in San Diego. A resident for 30 years, he was an employee of Southern Nevada Water Systems for 20 years, a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 14.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Shay; two daughters, Amy Penuelas and Carol Downes, both of Boulder City; two sons, John Penuelas Jr. and Michael Penuelas, both of Henderson; his mother, Christina Roberts, his stepmother, Magdalena Penuelas, and one brother, Richard Penuelas, all of San Diego; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Norma Lou Quinnam
Norma Lou Quinnam, 69, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Los Angeles. A resident for five years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Dana; three daughters, Christine Regley of San Francisco, Sue Hart of Tustin, Calif., and Salina Rothman of North Las Vegas; one son, Danny Wilkins of Sandy, Ore.; one sister, June Swanson of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Elmer M. Roberts
Elmer M. Roberts, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in St. Louis. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired casino security guard, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Defenders of Bataan.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Roberts of Las Vegas.

Jessie Cannon Robison
Jessie Cannon Robison, 79, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 5, 1921, in St. George, Utah. A resident for 58 years, she was a retired finance director for the Bureau of Reclamation and a member of the DOES.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Robison and David Robison, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Lester Cannon of Hurricane, Utah; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd.
Aase Roe
Aase Roe, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Oslo, Norway. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Tova Borgnine of Beverly Hills, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Lawrence Rothmeyer
Lawrence Rothmeyer, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1924, in McCook, Neb. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired machine maintenance man for a tire and rubber company and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharyn Legg of Claremont, Calif., and Laurie Foster of Ontario, Calif.; four sons, Sayles Rothmeyer of Claremont and Lawrence Rothmeyer Jr., Shawn Rothmeyer and Terrence Rothmeyer, all of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Regina M. Walker
Regina M. Walker, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 1907, in Illinois. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann; and three grandchildren.

Dwayne L. Wilkey, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 4, 1931, in Fort Collins, Colo. A resident for 28 years, he was employed for 31 years as parts manager for Ford Motor Co. and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Janet Garrison of Chandler, Ariz., Lois Rasmussen of North Las Vegas and Ann Johnston of Quenn Creek, Ariz.; one son, Steven Wilkey of Cedar City, Utah; his father, Glen Wilkey of Saratoga, Wyo.; two sisters, Margaret Stom of Silsbee, Texas, and Marjorie Stewart of Asheville, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

Franz Wuertz, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 16, 1917, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 13 years, he was a lens grinder for the optical industry.
He is survived by his wife, Theresia; two daughters, Elfriede Wuertz and Katharina Wuertz, both of Las Vegas.
